Henry MOUGIN

The beginning of a story, May 1968

"The great-grandfather went off to a guinguette with one of his friends and, going from bottle to bottle, ended up — through an unfortunate accident — at a candle auction. The last bidder, once the candle has gone out, wins. Henri, in a state of joy, began to laugh and raised his hand to bid higher.

But no one followed... He seized the farmer's land for a handful of coins.

The next day Henri went to see the former owner of the land for, having no use for it, he asked whether the man might buy it back from him. But the farmer replied:

– You managed to buy it from me, didn't you? Then you'll manage to look after it!"

Jeanne MOUGIN

In 1970, Jeanne arrived at the campsite, two years after it was created. She had no idea then how much it would change her life.

When Jeanne arrived, she knew no one apart from her family, having lost her husband a few years earlier.

Despite life's hardships, Jeanne took very little time to settle in and immerse herself in the campsite — to the point of becoming its defining figure. A strong woman, with ambition and unwavering determination.

For nearly 30 years, she made many improvements, both to everyone's comfort and satisfaction and by creating a place of well-being.

She eventually settled at the campsite in the 2000s, in a chalet built by her son Marc and some residents. In August 2015, surrounded by those she loved, she passed away at the age of 86 at Camping Les Parcs.

Marc MOUGIN

Originally from the Paris region, he fell in love with the Brittany coast and, more specifically, with this little place — far from everything yet close to his heart. As a young man, he discovered a passion for nature and plants.

Over time, young Marc had to move away from his family to write his own story. A few years later, he joined Jeanne at the campsite to help and support the mother he loved so dearly.

He was a young man full of determination, who sought not to copy but simply to innovate, surprise and share what he loved — building strong, sincere bonds around him, real friendships.

In June 2023, Marc passed away in his sleep, leaving behind a gentle imprint in our hearts.

Kévin MOUGIN

As the current representative of the campsite's 4th generation, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kévin, and I grew up at the heart of this world, which is an integral part of who I am. From a very young age, the campsite was a huge playground for me, a place of adventure and discovery.

Today, it is with pride that I continue this beautiful family story, drawing inspiration from the values and achievements passed down by previous generations. My goal is to preserve the authenticity of the traditional campsite while bringing a touch of modernity.

Harmonising comfort, creativity and innovation while respecting our heritage is essential to me. This blend of past and future guides each of my actions to keep this unique and precious place alive.
