Your Pets Are Welcome at Camping Les Parcs!
At Camping Les Parcs in Pénestin, we know that your four-legged companions are an important part of the family. That's why dogs and cats are welcome free of charge, whether you're staying in one of our mobile homes or on our camping pitches. Because holidays are even better when shared with those you love, we have chosen not to charge any additional fees for your pets. Our campsite has also been awarded the QUALIDOG label, recognising our commitment to providing a warm and welcoming environment for holidaymakers travelling with their beloved companions.
A QUALIDOG-Certified Campsite
At Camping Les Parcs, welcoming your pets isn't just something we allow — it's something we truly care about! We are proud to have been awarded the QUALIDOG label, a certification dedicated to tourist accommodation that goes the extra mile to welcome dogs. This recognition reflects our commitment to ensuring a pleasant stay for guests travelling with their pets, in a natural, friendly and welcoming environment.
And because we believe they're part of the family, your pets stay completely free of charge!
A Few Simple Rules for Everyone's Comfort
To ensure the peace, safety and comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask pet owners to follow a few essential rules:
- Dogs must be kept on a lead: dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when moving around the campsite, including along pathways and in shared outdoor areas.
- Up-to-date health records: your pet's health record must be kept up to date, particularly regarding vaccinations. You may be asked to present it upon arrival or during your stay.
- Cleaning up after your pet: all owners must pick up after their pets to help keep the campsite clean and pleasant for everyone. Free dog waste bags are available at reception.
- Animal welfare: we kindly ask that pets are not left alone and confined inside mobile homes for extended periods.
Category 1 and Category 2 Dogs
We are committed to welcoming dogs while ensuring compliance with French regulations.
- Category 2 dogs: these dogs are welcome provided that all legal requirements are met. Owners must hold a valid dog ownership permit, appropriate third-party liability insurance and proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination. Dogs must be kept on a lead by an adult and wear a muzzle wherever required by law.
- Category 1 dogs: under French law, these dogs are prohibited from entering public places and premises open to the public. As a result, we cannot welcome them under the same conditions as other dogs. Please contact us before making a reservation to discuss your situation.
